Studying art made me wonder a lot about the message of my pictures already... I want to be an artist who just does what he likes, without necessarily putting a statement in every work, but as a member of the lgbt community I sometimes feel the need to incorporate it as well.
Orlando made my thoughts clear about that again.
But it is hard to thematize lgbt appropriatly, which just makes me want to put a rainbow on all of my work, just to make people realise they are enjoying "gay" art.
It is really difficult, because I don't want to be that "in your face" and also I don't want my work to be downscaled on that fact, but sometimes I am just afraid that if you are not constantly outspoken about it people just won't accept it as a normal part of existing.
Being "in your face" is still necessary, I guess.

But to be honest I am still afraid to kiss my bf in public, but at some point you can only make people get used to it, by making
